On the Most Beautiful Woman in Britain

On rare occasions, I like to read really horrible tabloid news. Well, not on rare occasions, but I had to say that, for fear of being judged. Anyway, I came across this article sometime last year. Basically, this woman, Samantha Brick, talks about how she gets special treatment because of how beautiful and attractive she is (poor her!). She wants you to know that she is by no means "smug". In fact, she wants us to feel sorry for her because her female friends have had her cut off from their lives due to the fact that they are threatened that she might steal their men from them.

You get the idea. The entire article sounds like a joke. Someone in the comments section rightly asked if the article was a joke for April Fools' Day. And as if the article was not enough, she needed to be heard on national television.

If this is a publicity stunt merely trying to get a reaction from people, then kudos to her. Job well done. If. however, she genuinely believes all the things she has written and said, then I don't really know what to say.
